2022 Dynabrade Race Season Recap
Coming into 2022, the Dynabrade Race Team had a target on them as they set out to defend their 2021 World Championship in the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) Elite Top Dragster Category.
The Team again traveled across the country racking up nearly 15,000 miles traveling from North Carolina, to Kentucky, to Maryland, and everywhere in between. The Team had a very successful year with the Dynabrade Pro Charged Dragster finishing 3rd in the PDRA World Standings, essentially losing a second consecutive world title by just .0001 of a second! The Team's fastest run with Pete Maduri behind the wheel was a blistering 3.74 seconds in the eighth mile at 198.5 mph! In addition to that, the team is currently leading the 2023 PDRA Pro Stars Point Series, which is a special points series taking the last four races from 2022 and first four races of 2023 to crown a champion.
The Dynabrade Race Team also scored a top ten finish with the Dynabrade Nitrous Dragster in the Top Dragster Category. On top of that, they were able to put that dragster in the winner's circle at two local Top Dragster events at Empire Dragway (Leicester, NY). Much progress was made with the new Dynabrade Pro Modified 1969 Camaro. With Robert Bauer III behind the wheel, he was able to earn his official Pro Boost License at the World Finals this past weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park as he laid down a 3.78 second pass at almost 200 mph.
Plans are already in the works for 2023 as the Dynabrade Race Team looks to take it to the next level and get back on top! Follow our team on Facebook at Dynabrade Race Team – Maduri Motorsports.
