The Dynabrade Race Team and Bauer Racing had an unprecedented showing at Summit Motorsports Park (Norwalk, Ohio) for stop number three on the PDRA circuit.

Conditions were cold and we had to battle a lot of rain and wind throughout the weekend. Due to weather, we were limited to just two qualifying attempts, but the team made them count! In the second qualifying session, Pete Maduri laid down another career best at 3.72 reaching 197 mph in the 1/8 mile! On a side note, that is on pace to run in the 5.80s in the ¼ at well over 235 mph! This elapsed time of 3.72 qualified the Dynabrade Race Team in the number two position – missing number one by just .01 of a second. On race day, the team was able to go the distance and capture their first PDRA National Event Win! This victory moves the Dynabrade Race Team up to number two in the national standings! Pete Maduri, Sr. drove the Dynabrade Malibu in the Bracket Bash and had some success as well! The fans are certainly taking notice of the Dynabrade Team as we are making a name on the big stage in the world of the Professional Drag Racing Association! June is jam packed full of racing with the entire Dynabrade Racing Fleet – the Dynabrade Dragster, Dynabrade Monza, and Dynabrade Malibu. We will be hitting a couple local races including a Quick 16 with the dragster at Empire Dragway (Leicester, NY) June 12th, the NHRA Divisional with the Monza at Lebanon Valley Dragway (Albany, NY) the following weekend, and then finishing off the month in Budds Creek, Maryland for the PDRA National Event.
