What Happened To My Wrench?
It happens more than you think – a wrench goes missing that was included with your Dynabrade tool. Where did it go? Surprisingly the answers are more common than you may think.
Random orbitals, die grinders, and other common Dynabrade tools come with a wrench inside of their packaging. If the wrench is needed for daily use, it is included. Not every tool will come with one, but it is a safe bet to say if it's a random orbital sander or die grinder, you will have one in the box with the tool. These thin wrenches aren't commonly found in any stores, so it is necessary to keep them on hand. Things tend to happen, and your wrench goes missing. But how?
One of the most common reasons we hear of people losing their wrench is that it gets tossed in the garbage with the packaging. Always make sure you check under the foam packing and take out any part from the package you may need in the future.
A tool is purchased used. If you happen to find a used Dynabrade tool on the market, this could very well happen to you. The person selling it may be unaware that it came with any extra accessories or may have lost it. You really don't know the condition you are buying the tool in, which is why we recommend going through an authorized distributor.
What are the wrenches used for? Our die grinders come with the needed wrenches for loosening and tightening the collet assembly. Our sanders come with the necessary wrench to remove the sanding pads. These are just some common examples.
